The Problem

Solwinda's website was outdated and didn't reflect the company's real scale. Key services were buried in PDF files instead of being presented as clear, crawlable service pages. Several important certifications were missing, the site was slow, and overall visibility was poor, with SEO essentially non-existent.

They also needed a bilingual website. While most clients were international, Solwinda still served local customers, and local talent made up a significant part of their recruitment pipeline. The site had to work for both audiences, in two languages, without sacrificing clarity or performance.

Developing a Custom Website

Web Aloha built a fast, mobile-friendly website that actually reflects Solwinda's scale as an international industrial services provider.

Every service was moved out of PDFs and onto its own dedicated, SEO-structured page. Clear headings, keyword targeting, and well-organized content built for both B2B decision-makers and search engines.

We also consulted with the Solwinda team to surface certifications that were previously missing from the site and added extra service pages to strengthen topical coverage and authority.

A blog section was part of the build from day one. Not a nice-to-have, but a core piece of the SEO strategy that followed.

Content Revamp & SEO Improvements

Every page was built with on-page SEO baked in from the start. We also created a Google Business Profile for an additional location Solwinda hadn't claimed yet.

Content was the core growth driver. We wrote copy for most of the website, balancing industry-accurate language with SEO best practices.

Then we published dozens of SEO articles. Some targeting B2B demand (rope access, wind turbine maintenance, offshore inspections). Others designed to attract skilled technicians and strengthen Solwinda's recruitment pipeline.

Over 12 months of ongoing SEO services, we tracked performance using real data, refined keyword targeting, and improved site structure. We also updated existing pages and published new content to keep Solwinda competitive in search.

Beyond SEO, we consulted with the Solwinda team monthly on broader digital presence, identifying gaps and prioritizing improvements that supported long-term growth.

Earning Citations from AI engines

Later in the project, we expanded the strategy into Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) services – positioning Solwinda to be referenced by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.

On-site, we improved machine readability by implementing advanced schema markup, tightening content structure, and defining key entities. We also added structured FAQ sections where relevant, making it easier for AI models to extract information.

Off-site, we strengthened authority signals beyond the website. We helped build client's presence across industry directories and relevant sources to earn AI citations.
