About Gridinta

Gridinta is a European industrial services company with over 22 years of experience in wind farm, oil and gas, and heavy-industry operations and maintenance.

Based in Lithuania and Turkey, the company delivers onshore and offshore work internationally and partners with established industrial and renewable-energy businesses.

Phase 1

Building the Visibility Foundation

Gridinta’s real-world expertise and international scale were not reflected online. Important services were buried in downloadable PDFs, the site structure was weak, and potential clients searching for industrial maintenance services were finding competitors instead.

We designed a bilingual English and Lithuanian website, moved service information into indexable pages, wrote most of the core copy, and made the article library a deliberate part of the strategy rather than an afterthought.

More than 40 search-led articles supported both commercial visibility and recruitment. Ongoing SEO work covered technical cleanup, redirects, content updates, search monitoring and authority building.

Phase-one SEO result: +355% organic clicks, +1,374% impressions and +78% average position.

Extending SEO into GEO

We extended the content and entity strategy through Generative Engine Optimization: clearer entity definitions, structured service information, visible FAQs and advanced schema that search and AI systems can parse.

We also strengthened Gridinta’s presence across relevant directories, third-party mentions and authoritative sources. The aim was to make the business easier to understand, verify and reference wherever customers research industrial partners.

Phase 2

Rebuilding a Successful WordPress Site in Astro

The first website and content programme proved that Gridinta could win visibility. The next step was to give that growing bilingual content base a leaner technical foundation without losing the design, URLs, search equity or publishing structure already built around it.

We migrated the production site from WordPress to a custom static Astro build on Vercel. Pages arrive as lightweight HTML with optimized assets, so visitors and crawlers do not wait for a WordPress database, theme runtime or front-end plugin stack to assemble the experience.

LCP: 2.4 s → 477 ms

Measured by GTmetrix, LCP shows how quickly the main content appears, so visitors see a useful page sooner.

TTFB: 2.024 s → 237 ms

Measured by WebPageTest, TTFB shows how quickly the server starts responding, reducing the wait before the page can load.

Load time: 1.40 s → 261 ms

Measured by Pingdom, load time shows how soon the page finishes loading, helping visitors reach information without delay.

Speed Index: 3.4 s → 0.9 s

Measured by PageSpeed Insights, Speed Index shows how quickly visible content fills the screen, making the page feel faster as it loads.

The Rebuilt Gridinta Website

The visual identity stayed recognizably Gridinta. Underneath it, the delivery, content model and technical search foundation changed completely for a much faster, more secure and AI-ready website.

Gridinta has also shared the redesign from its own perspective, explaining how the faster website helps international clients find services, review technical information and prepare project enquiries. Read Gridinta’s website redesign announcement.

What the Astro Migration Improved

Speed was the most visible gain, but the migration also improved how search engines, AI systems, visitors and site administrators interact with Gridinta’s content.

Performance

Static HTML, less work per visit

Astro ships the finished page and only the JavaScript each interaction needs. That reduced load time, page weight, blocking work and request count across the independent tests.

Technical SEO

Cleaner canonical signals

Canonical URLs, English/Lithuanian hreflang links, sitemap output, robots controls and legacy redirects are handled deliberately instead of depending on overlapping WordPress plugins.

Schema & GEO

One connected entity graph

Organization, LocalBusiness, WebSite, WebPage, BreadcrumbList, BlogPosting and visible FAQ data now connect consistently, giving search and AI systems clearer relationships to interpret.

Agentic browsing

More machine-readable by default

Semantic HTML, descriptive links, accessible controls, structured data and a curated llms.txt make priority content easier for AI agents to discover and understand.

Measured AI readiness

Agentic Browsing: 1/2 → 3/3

Google PageSpeed Insights recorded one of two Agentic Browsing checks passing on WordPress. The Astro version passed all three checks shown in the later report.

Reliability & security

Fewer runtime dependencies

The public site no longer depends on a WordPress database or plugin runtime. Forms use server-only delivery, and deployment-level security headers protect the static site without exposing credentials.

One Website, Two Compounding Improvements

Phase 1 made Gridinta visible through a stronger website, indexable services, useful content, SEO and GEO. Phase 2 protected that work while replacing WordPress with a faster, cleaner and more machine-readable Astro foundation. The result is not a separate experiment - it is the next stage of the same long-term growth platform.
