Lithuanian, English and Samogitian. The English edition mirrors the whole website, so international patients and family members can read about treatments, prices and dentists in their own language.
Dental clinic, WordPress-to-Astro & SEO case study
We rebuilt a Klaipėda dental clinic’s WordPress website in Astro. It now speaks three languages, gives every dentist a page of their own, explains every treatment and answers patients’ questions before they call. A year on, it brings in 3.3 times as many search clicks.

Is an old WordPress website holding your practice back?
We rebuild it in Astro, keep every page that already ranks, and add what people look for before they call: services, prices, the team and clear answers.

Miško odontologijos klinika (Miško Dental Clinic) is a dental clinic in Klaipėda, Lithuania. Its team of three doctors and a dental hygienist covers preventive care and hygiene, fillings and root canal treatment, prosthetics and implants, children’s dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
The clinic’s promise to patients is simple: time to talk, a treatment plan explained clearly, and care that never feels rushed. The website needed to make that promise visible before anyone walked through the door.
The starting point
Web Aloha has worked with Miško klinika for eight years. For about seven of them, the clinic ran on a WordPress website. It did its job, but it no longer showed how much the clinic offers: only about half of the treatments had a page of their own, the dentists had no pages of their own, and everything was in Lithuanian only.
In spring 2026 we rebuilt it from the ground up in Astro. The new website went live in May, the English edition followed on 1 June and the Samogitian edition a few days later. Since then we have kept adding what patients ask about: new articles in both languages, fuller dentist profiles and answers to common questions.
The migration
Every page that was already bringing in visitors from Google kept its address on the new website, and older service URLs redirect to their closest new page. Search traffic didn’t dip when the new website went live. Within weeks, it started to climb.
The website is now a static Astro build: pages arrive as lightweight HTML, so they open quickly on a phone, even on a slow connection. A strict content security policy and spam protection on the contact forms keep it secure without getting in the way of patients.
The rebuild was not a copy of the old website in new software. We kept everything that worked and added the pages patients look for before they book: 117 pages in total, across three languages.
Languages
Lithuanian, English and Samogitian. The English edition mirrors the whole website, so international patients and family members can read about treatments, prices and dentists in their own language.
Team
Each dentist and the dental hygienist has a full profile. Patients like to know who will treat them, and these pages quickly became one of the most common ways people arrive from Google.
Treatments
Six treatments got a page of their own for the first time. Every service page explains when the treatment is needed, how it works, what it costs and how to recover.
Answers
Frequently asked questions sit where patients need them, next to a public price list grouped by treatment, so people can prepare before they phone the clinic.
Articles
The article library more than doubled, to 16 guides in Lithuanian and English, from aftercare after an extraction to state-compensated dentures in 2026.
Trust
Patient reviews appear across the website. Schema markup describes the clinic, every dentist, treatments, reviews, articles and FAQs for search engines and AI assistants.
A calm, forest-green design that suits the clinic’s name (miškas is Lithuanian for forest) and its unhurried approach, with the language switcher one tap away on every page.
A welcoming homepage in three languages
The English homepage, with the language menu open: Lithuanian, English and Samogitian.
A page for every dentist
Profiles show each specialist’s clinical areas, qualifications, licence details and patient reviews.
Every treatment explained
Thirteen treatments, each with its own page covering the procedure, cost, aftercare and common questions.
Real patient reviews
Genuine Google and info.lt reviews appear on the homepage and on each dentist’s profile.
Clear prices before treatment
A public price list grouped by treatment, with a direct route to a consultation.
Answers before the phone call
Frequently asked questions on the homepage, service pages, articles and contact page.
The same website in Samogitian
A Samogitian edition speaks to patients in western Lithuania’s regional language.
The results
We compared Google Search Console data for each month since the relaunch with the same month a year earlier, when the clinic was still on WordPress. On average, the website now earns 3.3 times as many search clicks a month as it did a year ago, and 5.1 times as many impressions.
| Month (2026 vs 2025) | ClicksSearch clicks | ImpressionsSearch impressions |

Measured performance
Google PageSpeed Insights tested the homepage after launch. Just as important, Chrome’s real-user data for the website, measured on phones, passes Google’s Core Web Vitals assessment, so the speed holds up for actual patients, not only in a lab.
Miško klinika is very happy with the new website. After eight years of working together, this rebuild is the biggest step yet, and the clinic has shared it with patients in Lithuanian, English and Samogitian, explaining how the website helps families find services, prices, specialists and directions before a visit.
